Meagan + Jon – An Editing Experiment

My husband, Dan, picked up a few bits of video footage from a friend’s wedding he shot (he was the photographer using a 5D) and came home to me saying, “I dunno if you can, but try to do something with it.”

So, while I’m not all too excited about the messy shots, shaky footage, and inconsistent white balance, I am particularly happy with the “edit”. Definitely a challenge to say the least.

Here’s Meagan and Jon, in Illinois at the Morton Arboretum.

  1. Does the 5D produce that video quality or did you manipulate the look while editing the footage?

    I love the look. Its very similar to what you did for 3sixteen.

    I’m interested in creating a short film and would love to know which camcorder you’d recommend.
